MSM.... how much???

Can anybody tell me how much MSM I should take daily in order to see a difference in my hair? I've read it helps with fallout and growth. I tried taking some in the past but stopped after only a week or so. I'd like to start up again and just wanted to get opinions on how much every one else takes. The pills I have are 750mg each.

Your body only uses as much MSM as it needs and then it passes the excess out. I have a bottle of tablets that are 1000mg. I was told to only take one since the dose is so high. I am taking it and glucosamine for knee joint problems though.
