hair color woes

This is an update on my post below. I went last Monday to have a permanant color put on my hair since the semi-permanant color came out in about two weeks. The permanant color is already lightening up alot. What will I do if it reverts back to the light reddish tones? Can I use a color enhancing shampoo? It looks more golden on top than red now. I don`t really want to do anything else permanant to my hair. I think I need to allow it to repair some. I did buy some Matrix product for color treated hair and a repair kit. Any suggestions are welcomed. I can`t afford to keep spending Big $$$ for a color that will just come out in a few weeks.
