Winter Ball (formal); medium hair; maybe updo but BIG EARS = BIG PROBLEM!

My school`s Winter Ball (formal dance) is in a week
and a half, and I really need help in choosing a
hairdo. I have bra-length, straight, dark (Asian)
hair.. My dress is sleek and champagne-colored and has a really pretty backview so I kind of want to show that off with perhaps an updo.. The only problem is that I have kind of big ears that stick out, which is why I almost NEVER put my hair up. Does ANYONE have any suggestions on a really pretty, unique hairdo that would work for me?? Thanks~! =)
