Do You Buy Branded Items Just Because?

Do you buy items just because they have a special brand name?  Or because the item is something you really want and it just happens to be branded?

It depends on the item. Sometimes I find that I have favorite brands because of how they work for me and these are usually things I constantly repurchase. Some of the time I do try other brands that are not as popular just to see how they work. I will admit that I am drawn to the high end or more well known brands just because I associate them with better quality products.

Sometimes the less known brands are just as good as the more popular ones but other times I find that you do get what you pay for so as I said it depends on the specific product.
