Thanks for the info. Yes I know smoking is a health risk for anyone who does it and anyone who is around them.
I was quite glad that they made most places here in Toronto smoke free zones. I hated going out and having someone blow smoke in my face! It is one thing to disregard your own health but that doesn't give you the right to put others at risk.
I have a few friends who smoke, they are all in their 20's like me and picked up the habit in their late teenage years. I have always tried to get them to stop smoking but younger people tend to be less concerned about things that may happen to them later on in life. They tend to live in the moment without thinking about future consequences and they have a very "indestructible" type of mentality. I guess in my group of friends I am the voice of reason but people tend not to quit until they have acquire the self motivation to do so. Ericachristina2013-04-15 16:50:06
