Dog Cravings

Can dogs have cravings? Sometimes after my dog eats, she sniffs around like she is looking for more food. But when I put her regular dog food on front of her, she sniffs it and walks away. However, if I put a doggie snack in front of her, she eats it. I'm starting to wonder if dogs can crave certain foods like humans can. 

Hi! Yes dogs definitely have cravings the way people do.. If you put down meat in front of them in one bowl and then dog food in the other, they will definitely "crave" the meat and eat that instead of their food lol. Maybe you can talk to your vet to see what the best dog food for them is. Make sure he or she is getting the proper nutrition!
