Did you watch X-factor

Did you watch Simon's new show the X-Factor. I must admit I watched it off and on but for whatever reason it didn't catch on with me. Sometimes it felt like it was over hyped. It seem like every time I tuned in the judges were arguing which made me wonder if it was staged for ratings.

Definitely such shows are scripted for ratings or else there is no glam and interesting point in just watching talents
