WAVE CURL PERM need advice

 i have natural UNEVEN waves.. i dont like it and it doesnt look nice leaving it down because there waves right in the middle of my hair on one side and more towards the bottom on the other also.. one side flips out at the bottom and the other curls in. so with that being said.. IF I WERE TO GET A PERM.. i want a BIG LOSE CURLS is that a type of perm you can get and will it look  ok with with my natural curl or will the perm over power my natural wave?? im just nervous on the perm thing and i dont want to do it and i have little "curly sue" perm. (my hair is a couple inches longer then my shoulders.) hopefully someone can answer my quesiotns! :)
