Dangerous things happen when Lyris gets bored.....

Oh the fun you can have with image editing software! The following hair makeovers were done with Photoshop. (I have also inserted myself into famous works of art, into places I've never been, etc. I'm such a geek.)

First, what my hair really looks like.

Then, imagine I cut it short.

Now, blond and curly.

Finally, Lyris goes Goth.

Hey Lyris! Awesome pictures!!!! hehehehehe
Actually, I thought both the short one and the Goth one looked really good (blond & curly just wasn't you, altho thats what my hair used to look like). Well, if you ever think about cutting your hair, now you have some idea of what it'll look like. I thought the Goth one was the best...it looked like that was really your hair! Again, I was wowed by your actual picture tho- you're so pretty!!! :) :) :)

Lotsa Love,
Inga

Gothic Lyris is stunning.

I agree with the poster above.
If you ever consider changing your look - thats the one to go for (just my opinion, beautiful lady).

Very Fun! I liked them all, although the blonde curley was very artistic. Thanks for keeping us entertained........

Lyris - I am a photoshop freak too! My husband and I both use it a lot. I have had a lot of fun with my family members using photoshop. An example? My brother just got divorced and to cheer him up I scanned his wedding photograph in and took his ex's head off and put Shakira in. Then I printed it on photo paper, framed it and mailed it to him. He got such a huge kick out of it. Knowing what i know about photoshop....you do have too much timeon your hands!!! Kidding. I did the same experiment last year and am contemplating doing some more to inspire me in my growing out phases.

I think your natural color is stunning on you and agree with everyone else that you are gorgeous.

Seriously....if you have some photos ( aka works of art) that you're comfortable showing off and have a place online to store them, why not? I'm going to try to post a few more of my own photoshop masterpieces next week. (They're not hair makeovers but just generally funny pictures of me standing on the moon, in Van Gogh's paintings, etc.) :-)

Here is another of my Photoshop creations...though non-hair-related.

Hey Lyris-
How do you get a picture on here anyway? I'm computer-deficient myself and have no idea how to do anything like that, but I have a drawing of me that I was thinking up putting up here, if I could fiugre out how to do it. Is it difficult? Can a technologically challenged person like me manage it?

Inga :)

Thanks for pointing out the broken link Dancer. Please try this:

http://www.crosswinds.net/~lyrisk/home.html

If that doesn't work, try hitting refresh on the page. I got it to load every time after refreshing.....weird site...

Hey Inga! Check out this site's faq's (button is at the top right corner of this page.) It explains how to post images, probably better than I could! :-)

Oh Hal you had to bring it up....sigh. Well, lughead Lyris HAD to go and delete it off my server. Fortunately, I *do* still have it. Unforunately, it's on my old (although not defunct) machine sitting in my parents' basement and I belong to an elite group of individuals collectively known as "22-year-old Midwest brunettes who work out three times a week yet are too LAZY to go downstairs and plug in their old computer!"

If I can bring myself to trot down there however I'll see about reposting it....though I seriously doubt there's a huge demand for my photos :-P

Hal you're just the sweetest, thinking of my health (LOL.) I made the long, trecharous trip downstairs to the depths of storage area hell and now Good Hair Day is back, albeit on a new server:
