Hi my 4yr old daughter is BI-Racial(white,mom and African American Dad)..Her hair is is long and curley(the good part of her HAIR). except for a 50cent piece part in the Back that is REALLY course..right where she lays...At what age is it okay to cut a CHILD HAIR(the OLD wise tale of NEVER cut a young african american child hair cause you'll mess it up for GOOD"..Or what can be done if anything..thanks for ANY SUGGESTIONS...

I don't know anything in particular about AA hair, but if I were you I'd take her to a salon that specializes in this kind of hair.   She's definitely old enough for a professional trim, and the stylists can offer you advice.
