Ok, I have hair that falls just below my shoulders and it's relatively thin.  It has a  natural wave to it that gives it great body, but everytime I let it air dry it looks terrible!  I have a lot of fly aways and I can't seem to get good separation of the waves, so it ends up looking looking like one big frizzy wave!  I want to be able to shower and run out the door, but currently I'd be too embarassed to go in public with my hair looking the way it does!  Any advice?  Thank you in advance!

What kind of products are you using?  What is your hair type?

Have you ever tried goin "CG". (using no shampoo only conditioner) It works great and helps stops most of the fly away.

my hair is fairly thin, but frizzy.  i use redkin shampoo and conditioner and then use a redkin smoothing product when my hair is still wet.  i've never tried the only conditioner tip but i'll have to try that.  does your hair not get really greasy?

Not at all. The only thing is that you do use alot of conditioner but if your buying conditioner instead of shampoo it's not a big deal. Like I said you just use the conditioner first like you would shampoo in the sense that you "scrub" and rinse like shampoo then you just condition as normal. I think you would see a vast difference in the frizz and poof and the overall health of the hair. I've been CG for almost a year now and it works great.

That work really well.  I co-wash 6 days and I use shampoo on day of the week.  I tried to not co-wash as much but I need to get my hair wet to style it.  I do like the no shampoo routine though.  It worked wonders on my hair.

It does work great. And after you have benn doin it a while you wont need to wash it that often at all. I "wash" my air now maybe once or twice a week and it still isn't "greasy"  or dirty when I wash it then, I only do it cause I feel that it is time to "wash" it. Most of the time I just rinse it in the shower. (just let the water fall over it while I am in the shower)

oh, and is there any particular type of conditioner that you use since you aren't using shampoo?  the stuff i have now is smoothing so is that going to make it greasier than if i used a regular conditioner?  thanks again!

I find that the conditioner from Suave is pretty good.  Anything from their naturals collection is good.  I use the coconut.  Also I have used herbal essensse in the blue bottle.

If you use all natural conditioners and conditioners with no sulfate are great. But I use Garnier Fructis. I really like it and you get the same smoothing thing goin on.
