*First off, I would like NO ONE to post on this Journal please!*

Ok, well I am 13 years old (14 on the 19th of Feb.)and beginning to grow my hair back out. I am just going to give you a little background about my experiences first.

Kindergarden- I had thick LONG blonde hair that reached to about my waist. I absolutely loved it and wanted to keep it that way. Well, I got lice from a student at school and my mom was told that I couldnt go back until it was treated so she did everything she could to save my hair but there was NO use. So It had to be cut off, up to my shoulders. None the less I was disapointed.

2nd grade- At this point I have hair a little past my mid-back. Well, I moved to a new school and my dad begged and begged me to get a new hair cut so I could look presentable. I finally gave in and got a bob cut which looked horribel on me I must say.

>>FF<< To 5th grade- I am missing my long hair, which is now down to about my shoulders maybe a little shorter so i decided to grow it back out, but be healthy about it as well. So I begin th journey again.

7th grade- I finally have my hair to my mid-back w/ layers and pretty happy with it. Nice and healhy, thick, and blonde which is my natural color.

Over the summer I decided to do black tips in my hair to look "Cool" which was a big mistake. I liked it for awhile but when I got into the beginning of 8th grade it started to get old so I decided to make it blonde with black streaks. Well when we get to the salon and we do the whole dye process my black from the tips is still showing through the blonde and black streaks. There is NO WAY they can fix it so I have to cut 6 inches off of it which brings me back to a little below the shoulder stage.

It's been about 4 months since I have gotten it cut and its almost past my boobs (lol). So here I am again trying to grow it out. I have come to the conclusion that I am NOT going to dye it anymore its the black streaks are just going to have to grow or fade out because I am too afraid I will damage my hair. I will do my best to keep it healthy as possible so this long journey will be a bit easier.

So there is my story, many more posts to come!!!xBritxBratx93x2007-02-16 23:12:25

I have decided to purchase HF37 because of the many success stories I have heard around the internet. I just hope it works for me. My goal is to have my hair at LEAST past my mid-back by next February. I think if I act fast and order it tonight, I might just might reach that goal.

Welp, my birthday is tomorrow! Yay!!! My mom threw me a surprise b-day party last night and I got tons of money, so I will be able to buy all that I need.

I seem to have a bad habit of eating lots of chocolate and downing sodas all day, but I am going to try to drink water and try some organic foods and foods with plenty of protein. We will see how that goes.

Though before I make this dramatic change I need to talk with my doctor because my mom is freaking out thinking this all will have a horrible affect or something. I told her not to worry, that nothing will happen. But I am sure most of you know how mothers are

I'm out.....for now

Well I got HF37 in the mail on thursday and I have been using it for 2 days now and already getting GREAT results!!!! I mean not growing wise, I know that will take a while but my hair is now soft and shiny and there is NO frizz!!!!! Yay! *does happy dance*

I cant wait until I talk to my doctor about the vitamins, though I want to be safe before I purchase them to make sure they dont interfere with my meds, I cant stop this eagerness to get onto the computer and buy them now! I WAN'EM!!!! I guess I will just have to wait until my next doctors appt. which isnt until May, but I just want to try out the shampoo & conditioner before I go and spend $130 on a 6-month supply of Vitamins that might not even work. It's better to be safe than sorry.

Welp, I have now got $140 dollars for my birthday plus all my saved up money so I can use it for whatever I want. My mom promised to buy me the first 3 bottles of the 1-month supply (if I get the ok from the doc.) just to try it out, if it doesnt work then we will try hairtopia, just to save the money and hassle.

But I want this stuff to work soooooooooooo bad!!!! I overall have fairly healthy hair....I think! lol. I mean its blonde, nice and thick, and I just trimmed my split ends which were not really all that bad because its only been about 3 months since my last trim. Though, I have some to the conclusion that I am going to be "smart" and trim my ends every 3 months (got marked on my calender, nice and proud of it too ) so they dont get REALLY bad where I have to chop of 2 inches of my freakin hair, which will leave me back where I started 3 months before!

Been working on my diet as well. I have cut down on the chocolate with NO problem, its just the stupid pepsi that gets me. I just cant seem to get enough of it! Though, I know my cravings will die down with time. My friends at school think I am crazy for caring for my hair so much but I cant help it. Most of my friends, are the kind of people who like to cut their hair into pixie cuts and die them 5 diff. colors. I have been there and done that there is NO way I am going to go down that road again. I need to learn to take good care of my hair, so that when it grows out, it wont look like a rats nest.

I hope you liked listening to my endless rant...I am sure you did.

Stay tuned for the next update, because I am sure I will have something better cooked up for you. Though I am going to make you wait.....MWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

I'm having a pretty bad hair day, today. You know you get those days where your hair is just BLAH. Mine is really greasy and bumpy, not shiny and straight like it usually is. I guess it's from where I didn't use HF37 today because I was in a hurry, that stuff really works.

Plus, to make things worse I am getting a bad cold, because of the wierd weather out here in Ohio. I know for a fact that I cant miss anymore school, because we are having SCA tests this week AND we are getting to the end of the school year and I need to be there to prepare for the OAT in April/May.

As for my hair, I just twisted it up into a bun and went on my way. I am going to be sure to usa HF37 tonight so that my hair will be nice and silky for tomorrow. I have come up with another one of my genius plans. I am going to use HF37 everyday for a week (been using it since thursday) then after that I will start to use it every other day so that my hair doesnt become dried out.

I hate the color of my hair, it looks like a witch wig you get for halloween or horse hair. I HATE IT!!!! But, I am going to deal with what I have right now. I want to die it black (my mom refuses) but I am afraid to do that again, because something might go wrong. I think I might wait until its to my desired length then I will die it a light brown or something. Maybe by that time the black streaks will be brown.

I am going to get you all some pics of my current length as soon as I can. I am just going to use my moms camera to take the pics, because mine has poor quality. I want to give you all a visual of my ugly horse hair

Hey all!

Well, yesterday my cold got worse and I coudlnt hardly talk so I didn't update like I had planned to. I have kinda been lacking when it comes to my hair because me being sick and all I havent really cared, but I am feeling much better than yesterday. So I am ready to get back on track!!!!

My hair is kinda uck today because I didnt mind washing it last night. I just threw it up in a bun and washed the rest of my body. So its kinda greasy and nasty, plus I need to trim some of the split ends I missed from the other day. It looks like it really needs a brushing. Ok so I made a list a couple of nights ago, it contains some products and food I am going to get next time I go shopping. Alright:

Hair Care Products
1. Olive Oil
2. Shea Butter
3. JoJoba
4. Sebastian Potion 9
5. Scalp Massage w/ Avacado Oil
6. Fox's Shea Conditioning Cream
7. CO wash
8. Garnier Fructis Long & Strong Leave- in

Foods
1. Almonds
2. Avocados
3. Walnuts
4. Flaxseeds
5. Sugar free Applesauce
6. Tuna
7. Wheat germ
8. Cheddar cheese
9. seaweed
10. yogurt
11. granola
12. eggs
13. Halilbut Burgers
14. Peanut butter
15. Sunflower seeds
16. Almond butter
17. Black beans
18. Soy beans

Oh and I have a recipe for a good deep conditioning as well. You need apple cider vineager and water then you are good to go. Put it in your hair after shampoo and before conditioning. I got it from this site somewhere so I hope to god all this stuff works or AT LEAST helps a little.

Welp, I am out for now. I need to go KILL THE SPLIT ENDS!!!

Sorry for the delay, I just moved into a new house and my internet hookup took awhile. Things with my hair are going wonderfully as usual, but I havent been using my HF37 for a couple of days because I am afraid that it will dry out my hair if I use it regulary. Though, while I am not using that I L-O-V-E using Aussie 2-1 shampoo/conditioner along with the deep conditioning as well. It works wonders with my hair.

I kind of regret putting hair spray in my hair to scrunch it today, but when I hopped out of the shower and dried my hair all it was, was a big poof ball. I had no choice, plus I think I look good with my hair slightly wavy. I had to go get a new nose ring because my other one was irritating my nose so instead of getting a stud I got a actual ring for it this time. Oh and I got my ears peirced twice again which makes a total of 4 peircings all together....lol I love getting peircings done. I am thinking about getting my eyebrow peirced when I get my belly button done. My mom desnt like all of the peircings but, she looks at it as a way of expressing myself which she'd rather me express myself through tattoos and peircings than she would drugs and alcohol.

I am getting WAY off topic here. Well I still have yet to get that list of things I posted last time. I think I need to get my butt in gear if I want healthy looking hair. Oh and I am also going to take pics of myhair and post them for you all to see and I will do that regularly so you can view my progress. I will probably post new pics every 3 months or so. I might every month if I can get the time to do it, becuase I am really busy with school. And, speaking of school there is this girl, actually she is my friend and she has gorgeous long blonde hair that reaches to her waist, which is my goal. I asked her about tips on how she keeps her ends from splitting and she told me she sleeps in a night cap and bought some satin pillows to sleep on so her ends wouldnt tangle, and she uses the garnier fructis long & strong syrum for split ends. So I am going to buy me some satin pillows and a night cap and see if that helps my never ending split ends.

Alright I think I have changed my mind on the HF37 vitamins, but I'm not for sure. I have been browsing the vitamins and supplements section of Hairboutique and A BUNCH of people say that HF37 vitamins are big and bulky pills that are hard to swallow, so I might switch to HAIRTOPIA because they garentee that the capsules are nice and easy to take. I am not for sure yet... I think I am going to purchase some Boitin supplements when we go grocery shopping. I heard that HAIRTOPIA has MSM in it which helps hair grow faster. There are many reviews how HAIRTOPIA and H37 work wonders but I am so afraid I am going to waste my money and end up with a bunch of vitamns that dont even work for my hair. I mean the HF37 shampoo and condtioner work very well for shine and softness, I am not sure about growth because I havent been using it long enough to give it a good review. I am stuck in a pickle right now. I think I will talk it over with my mom first before I do anything because she knows alot about hair. She's trying to grow hers out as well. I think I might buy the one month supply of HF37 and see how big the pills are for myself, they might not be as bad as everyone says. I am going to go with my instincts and try HF37 first, for a couple of months and if it doesnt work I will try HAIRTOPIA. But I am definately going to buy the Boitin tonight.

Well, I am having a little delima with my hair. I HATE ALL THE SPLIT ENDS!!! I did a search and destroy a couple of minutes ago, hopefully that helped a bit. It just seems like more and more keep coming back, I guess thats not such a bad thing at least I know its getting SOME kind of growth. Though, it gets kind of annoying so I think I am going to keep on doing the s&d every month or so and see what happens. I mean I get the fact that I am not going to be able to get every little split end on my head, but at least most of the big ones. Anyway, I have also decided to stick with my instincts and get HF37 vitamins, oh and I purchased some Olive Oil at the grocery store, I forgot the boitin though hehe maybe next time. I think I am just going to stop stressing about my hair and try to keep myself occupied for awhile and maybe hair growth wont be so long afterall. My goal is to have waist lenght hair by March of 2008 so that gives it another year to grow, that is if I keep it healthy. I dont really know if Aussie is a great product to use on your hair but it works wonders for me. I need to get Loreal Kids shampoo to clarify it though, I will probably do that every 2 weeks or so to prevent any build up in my hair. Got to go wash my hair!

Ahhhh! I am feeling MUCH better with my hair today. Last night after my shower I went into my room and decided to give myself a good ol' trim. I cut about a half and inch off and I feel much happier with it because there isnt so much breakage now. I still have yet to talk to my doctor about those vitamins which I really need to do because I am getting really anxious to buy them. I could talk to that CVS dude, lol he might know a little bit about them vitamins! I am doing much better on the whole caffeine drinking, I am drinking more Sprite and Sierra Mist instead of Cola and Pepsi. Though I do like to treat myself sometimes. I have also traded in chocolate bars for low fat granola bars to fill me up as well. This is not only going to help my hair but my figure as well, which could have a little tweeking once in awhile. This post is going to be a short one because I am tired so I need to get a shower. I also have court on thursday so you might not hear from me on that day. I will update tomorrow though, and definately friday as well.

Man, I havent posted in 3 days and it seems like it was forever! Well, court is over with and I am so releived about that. As for my hair well, for court I had to do something that I regret....I scrunched it using only water and hairspray lots and lots of hairspray. Then after court I took a shower and the next morning for school guess what I did.........I SCRUNCHED IT AGAIN!!! Doing the same thing I did the day before only with more hairspray this time. I feel so guilty, I am taking a nice long shower after I update and browse the site for awhile. I havent used my HF37 for a while I think I might do that tonight. My mom bought this NIOXIN stuff online for herself to thicken her very thin hair and I used it, The feeling was nice and the scent was yummy, kinda like a minty flavor. Afterwards I felt this tingly sensation but it was a good one. I think I am going to have her buy some more, I know my hair is not thin or fine, but I heard that it helps it grow. It is also a great clarifying shampoo to use, for people like ME who go out and spray a gallon of hairspray in their hair.... . I am going to the doctor in May for a check-up so I will talk to my doctor then about the vitamins, and we will se how much my hair has grown from now to then, maybe it will be an inch to and inch and a half longer....I'm hoping. Cross your fingers!

I bought some Boitin at walmart today. I also got Loreal Kids shampoo to clarify when I need to, it smells pretty good, I got the new Smoothie flavor so my hair will smell all yummy, and I bought some more Aussie 3-minute miracle deep conditioning along w/ the shampoo. So I am all set.

My mom wants me to hold off completely on buying the HF37 vitamins I dont really know why. I am a little upset but I will have to deal, I have to listen to my mom I am a good little girl .

My hair is doing pretty good so far, I used NIOXIN cleanser today to remove all my hairspray residue left in my hair from the other day. I also used the last of my Aussie shampoo and 3-minute miracle, but I bought some more as I said before hehe.

I saw this lady selling girl scout cookies outside of Wally world and she had some gorgeous locks! I'd say she had 40" of hair, I think thats classic if I'm not mistaken. It just motivates me to grow mine even more, it put me in a pretty good mood as well.

I just need to be patient and I will get there.

I did a massive s&d a few minutes ago, oh and I used that Loreal smoothie flavored shampoo to clarify last night......GREAAAAAAT! I loved it, my hair fel super soft and shiny. I can't wait until my mom lets me buy HF37 vitamins, I am super excited!

My hair looks a lot better after I did the s&d, I had a bunch of split ends I didnt even know about. I will probably do a search and destroy every month, so they dont get tooo bad to where I can't get all of them. I more than likely have more but I know it is impossible to get ALL of them out.

Until next time!

It's been almost a month since I started to grow out my hair and it seems like it has grown a bit, maybe a half and inch, though it usually grows and inch but I think the growth has slown down a it because of I've gone s&d....MAD!!!! I absolutely HATE split ends, I think I got most of them so I won't do andother s&d unitl April 12th, and from there on. I plan to do it the same day every month, so I don't get mixed up and end up going so crazy that I cut too much off, that wouldn't be very good.

OFF TOPIC: I can't wait until the end of school!!! We have a trip to Kings Island and I am so excited!!!! I love Kings Island, its so awsome and I wont have my mom bossing me around so I can ride with my friends. I went last year (when I had long hair : (( ) but I didn't really get to enjoy it, but this year is gonna be different! lol, after this year though, no more trips ugh. I don't know how I
am going to live lol. I plan to have my hair at LEAST a inch longer by then, and I think I can do it! xBritxBratx93x2007-03-13 14:42:14

Here are my short and long term goals:

August 16th 2007- mid-back length

February 29th 2008- waist length

July 31st 2008- hip length

December 31st 2008-tailbone length

I am pretty sure I can at least reach the waist length goal, now the other might be a little out of proportion but this is what I would like to happen with my hair in the near future. I will go NO farther than tailbone length. I have had it to my knees once a long time ago and I couldnt stand it, but thats just me. So tailbone is my long term goal and waist lenght is my short term goal.xBritxBratx93x2007-03-17 09:04:36

WOW!
Has it actually been almost a month?!
I have lost track of time, being sooo busy.
My hair is still on my head, thats for sure lol.
Slowly but surely its growing, and I have seemed to notice as well.
I've ran out of HF37 poo&con, I need to get some more.
I have been using aussie though, it helps.
About 3 weeks ago, I got a half an inch cut off, so it seems healthier.
It has definately had some growth since then.
I have it in pigtails right now, I am going to try to take a pic and post it for you all.
Surprisingly, my hair has been doing very well lately.
I don't know what it is.
Maybe it seems to be growing more, because I am not stressing over it as much.
I ♥ my hair!

My hair is growing right on target.
Since I've started this journal...which was 3 months ago.
My hair has grown about an inch and a half...which is an half an inch each month, thats as much growth as your suppose to have so at least its growing.
I am wanting to boost my boitin intake to see if anything changes...I will update later to let you know if any progress has occured.

I hardly ever get onto HairBoutique anymore because I have retrieved my old password from LHC, so I am posting a lot there. I actually started another journal.
I was browsing some pics on LHC and man, some of those girls have BEAUTIFUL looooong hair.
I wish mine was longer.
But it will come with time..just have to be patient.

OFFTOPIC: Wish me luck guys, I am getting my nose ring pushed back through tonight. And I am getting either my lip pierced or my eyebrow...I'm so excited!!

O.o has it really been 2 whole months??
Man, I have a bunches to tell you.
First off, my hair is thining because I cut some of my hair to have side bangs.
At least I think that is the problem.
I'm really really scared right now.
I hope it's not a medical problem.
From now on I am going to eat much better and get some exercise.
See if that changes anything.
Plus, I am going to start using NIOXIN as my daily poo & condish.
It's suppose to thicken hair.
I'm only 14 though, I shouldn't be losing my hair.
Should I?
Damn, I wish I knew the answer.
On a lighter note, I have reached 27.5 inches in legth.
Hopefully, my hair will thicken soon.
Pray for me please....
