bleached my balck hair now i need help!!!

ok i did the research all over the internet how to get black hair dye out of your hair and i bleached it like everywher ei read said to do..i started at the ends seeing as i knew my roots were grown out and would suck the bleach up like nothing..soo like i said started atthe bottom waited then later on did my roots now my hair is like 3 different colors!!! ihave butter roots..and the rest of my hair is either orange or a light red.. i bleached the drak sections twice more and can't get it to go down any farther. i need help1! what do i do.. i do't have the money to goto the salon and get it fixed..by the way i wanted to dye it a medium golden blonde but i guess thats out the window....so is there any color i can dye it can i dye it?? like a red color or a blonde color i really amd lost now i called a beauty supply store and they were absolutly no help at all. so please someone tell me what to do what color to dye it anything..i am freaking out!!!!!

Oh my god!!! What were you thinking bleaching your hair!!!! You have got yourself in a right mess.

Firstly you should have never bleached your hair!!! It is so so so so damaging, (coming from a lot of experience!!).  You should have tried stripping the black from your hair and then applying a colour that you wanted.

Now whatever colour you dye your hair it's going to just fade out due to the bleach and it will not be all the one colour!! You really need to go to a PROFESSIONAL!!! You will only make matters worse by trying to sort it.  And with your hair being bleached, over processing will just ruin your hair.  If you can't afford a stylist, go into a salon and ask for a consultation, you can then get expert advice and then go away and attempt it yourself.

My strong advice for you is definately go to a salon, if you can't afford it I would start saving!!!!

Get yourself some protein filler at Sally's. While you're there, also get some demipermanent color about 2 shades lighter than you want. Apply the protein filler first. You will probably want to change the color, but this should get you started, and it will fade over a period of weeks.

ok heres the ting..we don't have a sally's beauty supply store here but we do have a maritime beauty supply and i called them up for advise she had suggested the filler for my hair but said she can't sell it to me because i am not a hair stylist soooo i am ticked tothe max..i went back to the store latnight and exchanged my hair dye for a darker color. i know it will fade fast cause i bleached it out. but there is really no other alternative for me. *sighs* one mor thing..how long does it take your hair to recover from the beaching prcess or does it at all??. my hairs in not to hard of shape surprisingly i thought it was gonna be a huge mess dried out to the max. but after every bleaching i super conditioned and hot oiled

 

Your hair will never fully regenerate from the bleach until it grows out.  You can condition it though, with various products. (conditioners, oils, masks, etc.)  Just be careful with over processing your hair aswell, too much dying, straightning, and blowdrying can cause bleached hair to break really easily.

thanks so much for the info..first and last time i will ever bleach my hair...lol next time if i ever deide to go black again i'll definatly save the money and hit the salon. i bought a dark blonde hair dye and am sitting here doing the strand test to see what color it turns and so far it ookks pretty promising..mind you i know  iamgoing to have a 2 toned head but it doesn't look like its going to be to noticable lol. *crossing my fingers* if this doesn't work then i'll just have to lump it and go back to dark but i'll be sure to wait a fe weeks after the havoc i just reeked on my hair....

well the dyes in..due to my thick  long hair and i wanted good coverage i ended up using 1 1/2 boxes of dye..now i sit and wait..doopey doo 25 minutes darn that seems long whenyou re worrid your gonna look funny haha.. the strand test was not as bad as i was expcting.. i made sure i cut from root seeing as my hair is 2 tone and dyed it waited 25 minutes blew dry it and it didn't turn out to bad not as noticable as i thought it would be...so here iam waiting with dye on my head..laaalaalaalaaa lol... *crossing my fingers* or its time to invest in some really nice hats and bandana's lmao

nikki, I have bleach in my hair but as you know thinking of going dark orange. Reading here it seems like the bleach will fade the orange. Of course last time I put some orange in I had bleach under and it faded but this is slightly darker.

Well..*coughs* it didn't work out so well....my hair is a mess..they dye barely took....my hair is way over procesessed..it stretches like its dead dead dead...omg i could cry..i think i am gonna have to cut all off...luckily for me i've had my hair really short for about 4 years..took me almost 2 years to get it the length it is now....i haven't blown it out withthe dryer i am letting it air dry for fear i do more damage that i have already done..oh well one for the hair horror books never ever again will i do this to my hair..keeping my hair dark for the rest of my life thats it thats allllllllllllllllll....and you know my bf was the one that talked me into doing this even though i was adement usually i am smarter then this and i wouldn't dare pull something so stupid but noo i did and now look i am a mess i mean my hair ws so important to me i could seriously just die right now....

OH no!!!! We'll I did say GO TO A HAIRDRESSERS!!!! you silly girl!! I feel so bad for you! you're going to have to wait now till you can get it fixed!! I'm surprised it hasn't fallen out!!

You need to get some expert advice right away!! They'll tell you what can be done and when.

heres the thing...its like stretchy but i took such good care of my hair before i think thats why its still hanging on..oh and i called my dumbbutt of a bf...told him whats going on..hes like oh what am i supposed to do about it..i am like dude its starting to break off in my brush you idiot..anyway i hung up on him.. oh i am so mad at myself and him and arghh i could eat nails i think...i think i'll be calling the salon very very soon scrape up some cash somewhere and just chop it all off again...its hair it grows back...hopefully they can fix this color....

buahahaha...well i got the money and called the salon and she took me right away..ripped out some hair said it was in hard shape. she had her father come in and look at it ( hes been doing hair for 52 years business has been open 74) and he saido h no problem i can fix that..took filler filled my roots reddish and dyed it light brown..if i would have went blonde which he said i could have but i would have had to cut alot off my hair soo i opted for this nice light brown color. and he only charged me 68 bucks!!! i was like whoa my old stylist back home charges through the nose and i find his results were better then hers. ahh i am so happy now content got to keep all my hair and got it all fixed. *sighs* never again will i bleach my own hair leavin that to the pros!!!!!!  

Well there's a happy ending if I ever saw one! Reading this post through was like watching a drama! Will she get to keep her hair?! Will it all fall out? Will she kill her boyfriend?

Congrats on the successful color however!! Oh what us girls won't do for our boys! And any guy who doesn't offer to help you fix something you were trying to do for him isn't worth keeping!  Send'em to the curb! j/k

lmao. yeah i re read it all sounds better then one of those crappy soap operas on tv haha!!.. wasn't really doing it for him i was curious to see it myself also...but it wsa his idea i do it myself....*sighs* i am really not usually that stupid like i said before..guess i had a really dumb moment oh well we all have those. its all better now. i will post some pics sometime of my pretty hair :) weird thing is i dunno if what's up with it but my hair has this wave/curl to it now... could that be fromthe bleaching that its elasticy now that it just curls n its own??? cause before al lthis i had stick straight hair even after i washed it would fall straight now after i wet it it bounces into this major like ringlet after you use hot rollers and style kinda deal..its bizarre but it looked prettydarn good lmao so i am not complaining. i just wonder why....i know when iwsa young i used to have curly hair but then it fell straight..so i have no idea anyway bizarre or what if anyone knows of this lemmie know!!

Yeah, cause of the bleach.  My hair was always poker straight and now goes really wavy when it's wet.  I don't knoe why it does that but it's cause of the bleach!!

Here's my new hair. it looks darker then it is in this pic cause of the lighting and my webcam. its more of a light brown. He did a kickass job on fixing it though yeah i am so happy...

Hey, you have a tattoo. What is that??

oh i have lots of tattoos. lol. the one there is a lizard ( for my lizard kitty..who is now in a better place) with tribal design behind it.. on the lower part of that arm i have vines that go from my wrist almost to my elbow..each calf has a picture of a geisha ones blue the others red..for my gemini night to day personality hehe and my back has this huge tribal pice that runs across the top and part way down my spine. more tattoos to come eventually lmao.
