yeah, i always wear 2 du rags becuz ive noticed that in the past even when i had my du rag on, hairs were still stickin out. it really helps to make my hair lay down when there are 2 tho. i always put on one, then spray it wit water. then i put on the second one, and spray it down with water too. then i just go to sleep. my head was a lil sore too, when i first did it. but ull get used to it after awhile.

thats ridiculous....there's no reason to wear 2 du-rags, or a du-rag with a wave cap over it. thats to mush pressure your applying to your scalp yall taking this wave thing a lil to serious.

it may seem ridiculous to u, but to ppl wit certain types of hair, it could help. not everybody has straght fine hair that can be slicked down. if u have hair like mine, then ur hair frizzes alot especially when wet. and after awhile, does not lay flat down. and, or, after uve taken off ur dur rag, u notice that u still have hairs stickin up everywhere. and its not too much pressure unless u make it too much pressure. i havent had scalp irritation yet.

I don't have straight or fine hair. My hair in its natural state is kinda nappy and I have no problem with keeping my hold, and it last all day.

And to comment on your hair problems, most peoples hair frizz up when it gets wet. Also if your having trouble with keeping your hair down throughout the day then you should use a product with a stronger hold. Also it helps if you don't brush your hair throughout the day after you take your du-rag off, especially not with a hard brush, because that breaks up the hold and make your hair frizz and curl up

And after you take your du-rag off your head your hair can't be sticking up that much unless your hair is sticking to the du-rag, which I doubt. The only other way you hair can be sticking up is if your hair is penetrating through the du-rag(which only a few hairs can), I've found that a few strokes with a soft brush solves that problem, which isn't really a problem.

i said, especially when its wet. my hair didnt always stay down b4 i started usin 2. not sayin that itll work for everybody, but it worked for me. i didnt brush through out the day then. and it still wasnt as flat as i wanted it to be. and a soft brush never got the lil hairs that was sticking up down. i know theyre jes waves, but wheres the part about takin it too serious. cmon, its jes 2 du rags. ur infering the wrong things. yeah, u can get it done wit one, and im not tellin ppl that they cant, but im a perfectionist, and it works for me.

yea i'm just sayin that i helps my hair lay down a lil bit better. When i did it i usually tied the bottom one tight but not too tight then put the 2nd one on a lil looser. My hair laid down much better and held throughout the next day. Yea the dome was sore but it wasn't too serious. I even know peeps that  have  used 2 rags AND a wave cap and had good results, but aint gonna go that far! LOL
