Human hair isn't worth very much. You're competing with millions of women from third world countries, so human hair is pretty cheap generally, unless you have extraordinary hair (like white-blond knee-length hair in perfect condition). People sell ponytails on eBay all the time for not very much money. Why don't you go there and check it out?

Money? Going for a change and what not get a few bucks? Just sick of it and going for the cut why not get something for it? EBay I have seen this before.

If I were the person you were talking to my first thoughts would be,

Is this person saying this because they're being honest or are they saying this because they want everyone to have a bob? After all they are calling themself Lovebobs. Does this person think I'm ugly now and can only be pretty with a bob?

Someone named Lovebuzzcuts might say that Amberjune should get a buzzcut. Meanwhile someone named Lovelonghair could tell her to grow it out.

Me, I think Amberjune looks fine the way she is and she should do whatever she wants. I also think she could wear many different styles. Including a bob.

As for the original thread question about selling hair. I agree about Ebay or try Yahoo Groups. You'll definitely find people there who will want to buy.

Yeah, I don't think you can get much for hair.  I just donated 10 inches of my hair.  Why don't you donate, its for a good cause. 

I don't know, but are there any legal restrictions against selling human hair?  I just wonder if the companies that do this have the have the hair checked for lice or anything like that.  I don't know anything about this subject, but you might want to check on any legalities since it may be a health concern.

Don't sell it. Donate it to LOCKS OF LOVE a charity that makes wigs for children with cancer.

There's a site out there that people can sell their hair! www.thehairtrader.com  Many people can always sell their hair, then they can donate the money where they wish...It's kinda interesting...it looks like most just want a new do/makeover...

If advice isn't solicited, perhaps avoid offering any.

Think about it -- if you posted a picture of yourself (let's assume you have short hair), and people started urging you to grow your hair really long, would you appreciate it?

I have to agree with Dave.

I am dedicated to growing my hair out and if someone urged me to cut my hair into a bob, I would be kinda offended.

I'm just saying, I have no prob with people who love bobs. I am just a long hair person and I am sure amberjune is as well.
