I beg of you, please help me!

OK, I'm a boy and I have straight hair. I know I shouldn't be in this topic thingy, but I am in desperate need of hair knowledge! Ok, I WANT curly hair, in the worst of ways! Roar! I dont want really tight ones, just loose curls. Is there perms that are just loose? PLEASE, oh PLEASE gimme advice and tell me if a perm is a good idea or a bad one. Thank you SO much!

Curlywb; IMO, The p/w are better than they have ever been.....Bigger rods will give you a wave or less curl...try to find pictures of the type of wave or curl you are looking for. I know its hard to find pic's of curl...But curl is coming back.

Here is another little delemma for you...there is a whole generation of newbie stylists out there that haven't had to do many perms in their time. (mainly the last eight years) So, find someone that can give you the look you want. Gosh it sounds fun...I wish I could do it for you.

grow a bit longer, if you haven't already.

You're so cute, you could wear curl or not.
Have you tried growing a bit longer and using some fun stronger styling putties or pastes,
to make it all messy? That would be fun too.

The perm would be fun tho...a little stronger
than body wave.

To have that type of curl you would
need at least 3 if not 4" of length
that's what it would take to get
the hair around the size rod you
need. Then of course your hair
would need to be shaped with a
cut.

Do you have any natural wave

is it bumpy or pooffy?

When its long..... you have to really scrunch it to make it wavy. Its pretty darn strate (spell check? LOL) dang it. chib er denaien ifn4inf4fifn4inknl @@@##I#*#0 *that was mumbling under breath*

Ok, if that person is GIANT and wheres all black with a white mask, eats NON STOP and can make gold, and is screaming for a small child who's name is Chihiro but has to go by Sen 'cause her mum and dad have been turned into pigs because they ate like ones and now she has to work in the bath house while trying to save her parents and change a huge baby from a rat back to a baby, step on a black slug, find her yellow shoes, return the gold seal to Zeniba, find Haku and hope he doent die form little paper warriors and then make a hairband for good luck, go on a one way train and have a flashback of when she fell in the Kohaku River and tried to find her PINK shoe but was saved by Haku, whos real name is Kohake River and then has to fly away on his back in dragon form then complete Yubabas test to save her parents and help a stinky stink spirit who is really a river spirit and pulls a bike out of his side and then try to stop No Face who is eating everything and his gold is really dirt and he trows up all his food and its really nasty and then read a card that say Ill miss you Chihiro, your best friend Rumi and remember about her human life and eat a red berry, become see through, find Kamagi, ask for work, sleep by Lin, become friends with Lin, clean a giant tub with Lin, row in a barrel with Lin, eat smuggled dumplings with Lin, be annoyed by a little green frog, eat rice balls with Haku, cry, cry, cry, speak too fast for poor Daveigh, make Yu bird Yu bird again and turned the OYing men.... back into OYing men, then YES, Sophie, you DO know Mr. No-Face!

"Spirited Away" - great movie, just won an Oscar for best animated feature. I never saw the one in American theatres tho, I saw the Japanese version.
