I have a low cut (prob a #2 in length all over ) and i'm looking to lock up. My hair grows very fast and I want to start my dreads earley just in little twists. I'm white so I have straight hair and I was wondering since my hair is impossible to grip , is there a wax or something that will keep it twisted because usually it will just fall out . at what length would be best to start them ? thanks.

ooh, i just posted a link to my article you should read.

Two inches really isn't enough. not for my method at least

as for good dread wax, pure beeswax (like, the brick stuff) mixed with coconut oil is best for dread wax. I've used one cup beeswax melted with a quarter cup coconut oil. That worked great. And lots cheaper than dreadheadhq.com stuff, which i also used.
