I was recently wearing a pair of feather earrings and someone asked me if a bird had been harmed in the process of the earrings being produced. I had never thought about it! (typical consumer) I did some research on the subject and found that birds are bred strictly for their feathers. I did find some cruelty free feather earring sellers who are primarily listed on Etsy.
