Mom's Hair

When my mother was young, her hair was straight and silky. As she got older her hair became more coarse  and even had a little curl. I was wondering if that was part of the aging process or from years of using chemicals on her hair.

It could probably be either; I know your hair texture can change if you get pregnant, so I would imagine that as you age and your hormones change your hair texture could change as a result.
