PROM EMERGENCY!

2 days ago I got asked to be someones prom date. LUCKILY, i found a dress that fits but i can't get a hair or make up app..
So i have short darker brown hair, with natural highlights. It's almost an asymetrical bob, but the right side is about an inch shorter than the left. IT's a great style, but i can't think of anything to do with it and i can't get an appointement anywhere..
I NEED HELP!

My hair resembles Rihanna's a bit, her older shorter style. It's similar if that helps!
Please, i need any ideas i can get!
I'm game to try anything, and i'm pretty handy when it comes to doing hair but i'm stuck!
