yes it is true that your hair can regenerate within 1 year due to its natural life cycle, however you may still continue to loose hair due to your anxiety & stress levels which may result in continued hair loss. Hi Guys HAppy New Year to you all.  I am new on the scene and am interested in getting together with people who have hair problems like thinning hair and gray hair. I am at that stage of life when this is an issue with me. Good hair makes you feel confident.   I would like to know how others manage and cope

My one question is - should I continue to color my hair - or go gray "gracefully"? I worry about the effects of coloring my hair every 4 weeks.

Why not try going gray gracefully and if you don't like the results or people around you kindly suggest you looked better before you can also go back to coloring your hair.

Gray hair can often be colored with a semi or demi perm that won't be as damaging as if you were lifting the color.

You might consider asking a haircolorist to get you started and explain you want to do touchups at home.  They can get you to a good starting point where you can do the root touchups at home and maybe go in for a color tuneup 1x or 2x a year.

George Clooney is going gray gracefully and he looks great.  However, everyone has to go with how they feel when they look in the mirror.
