start using the h20 method a little more to make it lay down, and try using a medium brush when u do it cause i think softer brushes will help it lay down
and w/e ur using to get ur pictures, try going into its setting and making the picture size smaller
 
but i think cash has this one, but trying doing that type of h20 method, and try using a medium or soft brush a lil more then see what happens
