I have asian hair, when it's long it's flat, thick, straight black hair. I also have a cowlic in the center in the back. (side question: is there any race/type of hair that never has cowlics?)
Anyway I've been cutting pretty short cuts lately, 2 on the top 1 1/2 on the sides. I like my hair short, but my head has a weird shape, like a tilted oval, looking at it from a 90 degree angle. Also my hair is thin when short (thin until it gets to the point where it doesn't stick up, but i like it sticking up). I think I might start getting it a little longer 3 and 2 1/2, so it looks neat, and it's just enough hair so my head's shape is accuented. Anyone have any suggestions for my hair? (tilted oval shape, cowlic, a little thin when short)
I'm also about to get a shape up, how does that affect the hairline? How long does the hairline usually take to come back in? I like to get my cuts once a month about, but I also want my hairline to grow back in if I ever want it to.
