How to get a Fohawk

I have a normal asian, with the average teenage boy style. I have a fade on the sides and i spike the top of my hair. I'm getting pretty tired of it so i've decided to get a new look. What i was thinking is a fohawk. Like the picture below, but just a little bit shorter. I dont want to use jel, but some kind of wax or something, so my hair wont look wet, but dry. How should i tell the barber to cut my hair? What kind of hair product should i use? Thanks in advance!

u should try hair clay ask ur barber if he/she has any. also ask ur barber if he knows a way that ur hair can be molded intoa  fohawk style lol
