i just took out my sewn in and i went 2 wally world (wal-mart) looking for a spray on moisturizer for when i get my hair done again. since it will be braided underneath the hair, i need to keep it moisturized while it is like this. i considered getting some of the goopy crap-oh i mean  hair oils that most ppl swear by, but that just isn't for me. i saw something new by Dove called Sheer Moisture Leave-in Replenishing Mist. it is for normal to dry hair with symptoms of dryness. and let me tell u ladies ITS THE BOMB!!! it is water based and contains no mineral oil or petrolatum like other moisturizers for black ppl. it makes your hair instantly softer, detangles, more managable, and it smells like heaven!  nice clean sent that is almost unoticeable. it also makes your hair moveable and not just one hunk of hair on your head. i think this is it, my new moisturizer that feels wieghtless and really works. u have to go get some, it was about $4 for 9.25 oz. C'MON LADIES, stop wasting your money and get this rite herr!!

You gave a really good description and review of it. When some of my current moisturizers are nearly gone, I just might try it!

I don't like too many products in my cabinet, so I try new stuff only when the older stuff is nearly gone. That's kind of my way of trying not to be a product junkie.

Does it reduce the breakage. I conrow my hair every week and I wanted to know is there something I can use on my hair while there in and also when I take them out.

WoW Taggi , yes indeed you have found a miracle mist. I puchased the Dove Sheer Moisture Mist today and tried it as soon as i

I got home . My Hair is shiny and soft to the touch with a bouce. As a test I took out the ends of my corrow with so much ease. I will be using this from now on . And you don't need to use loads. My hair is natural and  thick . I recommend this one for all you naturals too -short or long style, you'll love the results.

Please do feedback if  anyone else has tried this. I was wondering about the Shamppo and conditioner from this range as well. Baby Blue range  Lol Sharon71 X

I bought the mist and plan on using it in a few days.

@Sharon....Dove shampoo and condish is good stuff.  The conditioner is my staple.  I use the Intense Moisture one but the baby blue one looks good too.  I also use the one in the dark blue bottle, I forgot what it's called.

Hey P. Thanks for the advice bout the Shampoo and conditioner I'll try both.

Yeah T the baby blue Dove is newest range here in the uk.

Dove seem to have got it right with their products and its really good that they have actually made their products for our skin and hair. Alot of other companies don't do this which can make us think their products are not for our skin or hair type. Dove reflect black women on their adverts on tv in the uk and on their webpage. Do they do the same in the states too?

I was also told that in the States you sell a much larger range of Dove products than in the Uk but we do have a good range too.

LoL Sharon71 XxX

Hello All!!

Had to get in on this one, My Locks are 2yrs. old now, & thanks to all your insight, and wisdom, it's past my shoulders, already!!!

The dove mist is light, but gives a nice moisterizing conditioned feel, even after it is dry. I use this now A.M, & P.M.  along w/my MGT &WGO.    Thanks, Sondra.

mist" this weekend,, i hope it wont make my hair too
soft though,, hmm how do i explain the hair types
thing,, well starting with 1a ,, that would be very
straight hair,, and so on till 4b which is the
kinkiest hair.... u can go on google or yahoo and use
the search phrase hair type 4a and it will find a u few
websites containing the hair typing systems,, ,, there

Hi CnK, Im sure you will like it, if you do not want yr hair too soft don't spray too much as alittle goes a long way in my hair. i do not saturate it too much as my hair is really thick and i like thickness as opposed to softness. Thanx for the advice about the the hair types i think i  may be a 4b but which check this out

Hey P Im glad you like this baby blue stuff ! Yes it's a gr8 detangler too

Thanx so much for the  hair type chart
