Pomade Vs Gels

Gels give a better shine, in some cases, and is easier to wash out. I use salon select gel and it works fine for me.

Pomades like Nu Nile give a good shine and hold, but are difficult to wash out. I've noticed that lighter ones like SW black can hold, but don't shine is much.

but not all gels are good for ya hair.

i prefer gels.but moisturrize ur hair first

is sw in tha gold can good?

umm swaves gold thats good i heard but i dont think it gives shine i kno its a real good holder

I love lets jam it has good shine a medium hold, its better then most pomades in my case.

i like gel cuz it help texturizers ur hair good 4 shine.

ill stick to moisturizers

Do you think it is good to use the lets jam as you would use a pomade?

im new to tha forum and i got a question...i got waves and everythang but im tryna add sum shine to my hair wha would yall recommend me puttin in my hair? i use dax wave and groom and pro-line moistureizer and i got a med. brush

Use that lets jam orange top. That stuff is da real deal

what wuld yall reccommend 4 a products that starts curls

   if you find that your pomade is hard to wash out.  i use this shampoo called olive oil creamy aloe shampoo from ORGANIC root stimulator.  it will wash out all that pomade and leave your hair real soft.  my scalp doesn't take well to gels, so i have to use pomades.  but if you can use gels why not.  it's up to you.

ye i use gel  hve u guys ever hear of wellmans super gel heard its easy to wash out and exellent hold also a good shine.

is it possible to mix them both because i mix promade with gel and it comes out better but i dont noe which leaves better results

I think ya should use carrot cream.
