Personally, I have not, but I have a friend who absolutely swears by Bare Essencuals. Her skin always looks flawless and natural. When she first started using the product, I noticed a definite glow.

ya my friend uses that stuff like crazy and loves it but she, like me, can't keep up with the prices.  If your looking for something affordable try the Physicians Formula, or Prestige.  They're still expensive but i love them both.

I'm using this product...it works wonders.  It gives me a glow, it doesnt cause breakouts, it feels like im not wearing any make up at all and it is easy to apply on your face it also has SPF in it which is great.  I think its worth the price, its the best foundation I ever used and will be my last. No more searching for that right foundation any more because I found it already and thats BE.  You should def. give it a try.

I agree. I actually use the Physician's Formula finishing powder in the winter and the bronzer powder (which I love) in the summer.

I use bare minerals...i agree you glow and look naturally fabulous great coverage they cost alot but you use so little...

Downside though...they do not stay on in the water like a long wear liquid...but nothing is perfect...

I checked out both the BE website & sephora.com.  Other than the foundation, do you use any other BE products? How is the lip & eye make-up? Has anyone tried that warmth stuff?

I use many of their products and they are wonderful!  Their foundation is the best I've ever used, and I've tried all of the best brands:  Chanel, Dior, Laura Mercier, etc.,  and this one makes theirs look like a drug store brand.  Their blushes & eyeshadows are great too.  Also, re: their product called "Warmth", this is great when used as a bronzer.  I highly recommend these products to everyone!  Clap Color_Diva9282006-05-19 15:49:54

There's a BE store near my work so I stopped by today and picked up a starter kit. Can't wait to try this stuff out!

Well, I've been using BE for a few days now. I really like the coverage and how the products feel on my skin. I use the foundation, the warmth, and the mineral veil. I'm using very little of each product. My one complaint is that BE makes my forehead and nose appear greasy. Has anyone else had this problem?

BE offers a variety of colors from fair to deepest deep. You can check out the foundations on the BE website or on Sephora.

I've seen the commercials and I would like to try it but for that price I have to be sure I would continue using the product.  I am light skinned. Are there any light skinned African americans willing to share their thoughts of BE after using it.

It is a great product.    It creates a sheer finish that covers blemishes, age marks, etc.   The good news is - your freckles and youthful shine can show through!    It is light as a feather, and stays on all day.   You don't need to purchase a whole kit - just find a shop that will do a demo for you and make wise choices regarding colors, etc.   You can find it on ebay at a great discount!

You don't have to spend any money to try it.   Simply find a salon or makeup store that will gladly give you a free lesson and demonstration.  Then, you can make an educated decision!

I have darker skin and really want to use a mineral makeup so I ordered a sample of ada foundations, it's mineral foundation for darker skin tones. I hope it works like BE. I will update when I get my sample.

Hey...try blotting sheets for those areas once or twice daily...they work great & take oil away from those areas instead of just covering it up...once you blot, use your mineral veil there again...I bought like $250 dollars worth of BE when I first started, face, eyes, brushes, mascara everything...I wouldn't do it again...I use the bisque/summer bisque, foundation, warmth, all the brushes & a shadow called coffee bean over my liquid liner (to smudge) I wan't crazy about their mascara...Anyway, for future reference you may want to try QVC.com for good prices or watch when they have the specials...their prices are better than the regular stores...I haven't tried ebay...but check out QVC!

Hi cole...I'm a fair-skinned strawberry blonde, close enough?  I am using fairly light for the summer and I will likely use fair for the winter (I'm a new BE customer). I hope this helps. The Sephora website shows all of the BE foundations, might help if you take a look. Go to sephora.com
