Yay! Compliment on Hair Length!

It finally happened!!! Someone said to me the other day "wow, your hair is looking very long." It was very exciting that someone has noticed, because really, some days I wake up and my hair just still looks so short to me. But that compliment helped me see beyond my bad hair days. MY HAIR IS GETTING LONG!!!! WoooHooo! (Measured today - 19.5 inches, which is from 17.75 inches two months ago). I am very happy (can you tell?)

I hate new growth :(

It's a pain, especially because I no longer have a natural part... I just have little spikes that go every which way!

I have the new growth spikes too, Letmecount123, but in your sig pic, your hair looks so smooth. What is your secret to the smoothness?

Smoothness... lol, well, honestly, it's almost TOO smooth. I say that because I leave it up most days (when it's wet) and when I take it out that night or the next morning, it won't hold a style... ponytails slip out, braids fall out... it's insane!

I got a new salon quality shampoo and conditioner from my sister for Christmas that seems to have worked absolute wonders for my hair after so many years of drugstore brands. I still wash and condition most days, then use a cream leave-in condition (advance group), and put it up.

I took that pic the only day I blow-dried this month (for college pictures).
