I dunno why but afte ri had haircut i think i have xowlick now but i never did im 20 in colleg emale an dits around the crown , i havent cu tmy hair since 22 june and my hair in back grows and side but crown looks funny like like short not like a alfalfa but ba din front help and will it grow bangs even if i have this problem

(1) How much longer is your hair now than on June 22-- the hair on the sides and the back of the head? Take a measure for me... I'm wondering about the growth rate difference between your crown and the rest of the head.

(2) Some people's crown and bang hair grows much, much slower than the rest of the head. It's genetic. I'm the same way.

(3) Sometimes hair seems to stop growing when you have too much stress, or just randomly. It's only been less than 2 months so it's hard to tell. Hair sometimes stops growing for 6-8 months at a time.

(4) It could be damage. What do you put on your hair and scalp nowadays? .. Do you treat your crown hair differently than the rest of your head hair, in any way shape or form?

well i get tiny hairs in front of my head in crown, i use herbal essence, its weird cause i never had a cowlick and now i do its since i had haircut like the fronts are really bad and i had to but gel so it can be normal in front, also i had hair dye in my hair and cant get it out its been since 2001 and still i have blondish liek hair , i see like streaks i was brown , why is that , cause sun can gel make hair chane? help please

It's summer. If you have light to medium brown hair, chances are it will lighten with sun exposure.

Define "bad". I understand the front won't grow, but what exactly is the issue? Does your crown hair show damage? Is it frizzy? Do you notice any unusual hair loss?

like the bangs r uneven i dont part my hair but i want it to grow, i usually jus tspiked it but very un happy cuz i tihnk i have cowlick so i dunno what to do, like it short in front and i try to part it and tiny hairs pop up and i dunno very stressful

If you've got tiny hairs growing in, that means they're growing back. Wait awhile, I suggest holding off on gel use for a few months to see how your hair does. Gel can "suffocate" the hair follicle or dry out the hair shaft. Just be patient and your hair will grow back in no time.

but i have to but gel in it cause if i dont i still have dye in my hair and when it drys up it looks crazy

Try a gel alternative... like a leave-in conditioner, jojoba oil, coconut oil, or shea butter. It'll keep your hair moisturized. Gel often dries out hair, especially if you have fine hair.

maybie if it was in a different style, like gelled before, the hair is used to going that way and will do for a while , but eventually should go back to normal

bso are u sure hair grows if you had bad hair cut like when i shower my hair abd ket it down it looks long in front but when i part it my hair is mess and i dunno is my roots messed up but my hair in back is long, ar eu sure it willk grow back\

Good to see you around. No, a "bad" haircut can't mess up your growth rate unless you're going through immense trauma. As long as your roots aren't damaged, you technically should be okay. The only thing I can say is... it's too early to know whether your hair is growing back. It's only been since June 22. Wait several months and monitor your hair behavior. because like I said, sometimes hair does stop growing for several months.

but to me i had thick hair and now in front it seems thin a but like tiny hairs are in front how long should i let it grow till, i mean it will be 2months on augg 22 and back are long but fronts arent and what type hair style should i do, and is there way to get thicker hair,, las t thing a girl i know told me if u put condion in b4 weting yoru hair it can grow quicker is this true???

I've never heard of a case like this.. So your crown hair never grew this slowly before? It just seems so odd to me. Don't listen to those hair growth myths... Especially not the conditioner thing you mentioned. Technically you can't make your hair grow faster. Some people say vitamins can, and people say taking MSM or Biotin helps... you could try that if you like.

So it's been 2 years since this uneven growth issue came up? If so, this doesn't sound normal. Hair doesn't stop growing for more than several months. If you're worried about this, I'd recommend asking your doctor.

antais sorry for bugging you , but your helping alot, why is it that my hair is long in back and like thin in front, can bad hair cut make hair thin??? and what would be good hair style for cowlick in crown, would spiked be good?

"Bad" haircuts cannot make hair thinner or finer... unless it yanked out a lot of hair from the root (Did it?) I don't think the bad cut was the reason for your thinning or slow growth. It's been 2 years since your growth problem, so I think it could be genetic or a medical issue. I reallly think you should ask a doctor if you're worried.

If your hair is thinning, I'd recommend laying off the product. Stick with leave-in conditioners and oils...
